Trevor Scott started at North Dallas Martial Arts through our satellite program at Oakhill Day School in October 2008. He went on to earn his first degree black belt in July of 2016 and his second degree black belt in August of 2019.
He was a mentor to the younger students and a friend to the older students. Trevor was a part of our family.
As a memorial to Trevor we have set up a scholarship fund for students who aren't able to afford tuition. If you would like to make a donation in memory of Trevor, you can send a check or drop off cash c/o NDMA, 420 N. Coit Rd. Suite 2020, Richardson, TX 75081. You can send money via PayPal to [email protected] or Venmo to @bonnie-abadie-1. Please put Trevor Scott in the notes.
Robert J. Abadie Memorial Scholarship
Mr. David's dad was instrumental in supporting us as we embarked on our journey of becoming small business owners. With his passing in December of 2018, he left an inheritance which allowed us to set up a scholarship in his name.
Applicants must have been with North Dallas Martial Arts for a minimum of five years. We will award scholarships of $500 for those attending a four year university and $250 for those attending a junior college. The deadline to apply is May 1st. By applying for this scholarship, you give NDMA permission to use your photograph and your essay in various social media outlets and on our website.
